Fun With Maps

17 Jun

So, I decided that it would be fun to do a little paint project. Below you will find the “political” maps of the recent primary season. I have only market the states where the two current presumptive candates won out-right in their respective primaries.

Now… let’s see what happens when you put them together

So. What this all comes down to is – “Who is going to win what come the General Election?” Well, these are my thoughts. The South will still be in question because conservatives don’t trust McCain. On the same token, I’m not sure how much old money liberals in the North East trust Obama. The Political map could look something like this. Note: States that were too close to call, based on primary results/historical voting trend, are still bi-colored.

So, if we add up the delegates from the known states we stand thusly:

McCain – 137

Obama – 167

Wow we might lose a lot of ground in the Midwest.
