As politics continue to get more and more partisan (See: Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi) there is one question on the minds of those who hope to see civility return to the U.S. Legislature: Just as Barack Obama’s rhetoric became more centrist as his two year campaign wore on, will his policies do the same?
The answer, clearly, is no. He will go after guns and the 2nd Amendment. He will go after free speech and the 1st Amendment. He will continue to expand the welfare state, handicapping the citizens of this country. He will appoint Liberal judges to the U.S. Supreme Court, creating a Super Legislature and further unifying our three, separate branches of government.
At what does this mean? It means that he will have exploited the people so that he could rule them. If his goals succeed then we the people will not have the chance to fight back, because our arms will be gone. We will not be able to speak out because our voice will be gone. We will not be able to petition the government for a redress of grievances because they will not hear the voice of the commoners.
Oh yes, Mr. Obama has used the system against us. He used it perfectly. He is a political whelp who believes, as many Americans believe, that his position will allow him to change America single-handedly. That somehow his policies will amount to something on their own. They won’t and they can’t. But with the assistance of a Democratic controlled Senate, his policies can become reality.
We must stand up to any incursion upon our freedoms and rights. Too long have Conservatives been called ignorant bigots. Too long have we stood by and watched as the few have screamed and protested and rallied, claiming wants as rights, degrading our beliefs and turning hypocritical when theirs are questioned.
Two years is all we need, America. Two years is more than enough to expose Mr. Obama for the fraud that he is. His policies will not move to the center, but his silver tongue will. Two years to protect our rights until another conservative revolution can surge upon the American political scene. God help us until that day.
